The Chateau de Breteuil is situated 35 km south-west of Paris, between Versailles and Rambouillet, in the Vallée de Chevreuse.

1)From Paris, recommended route: (shown in pink on the map)
From the Porte de Saint Cloud, follow signs for Bordeaux, cross the Seine at the Pont de Sèvres, and take the N118 still heading towards Bordeaux as far as the Saclay exit.
At the Saclay exit take the N306 (then the D906) towards Chevreuse. At Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (before you reach Chevreuse) follow signs for Les Molières and then the signs marked "Château de Breteuil".
2) Coming from the south of Paris:(shown in green on the map)
At the Porte d'Italie or the Porte d'Orléans take the A6 towards Lyon and then the A10 towards Bordeaux. Take the Les Ulis exit. At the exit for Les Ulis, first follow the green signs for Chartres, then go to Gometz-la-Ville. In Gometz-la-Ville head towards Les Molières. The chateau de Breteuil will be signposted then – it is situated between Les Molières and Cernay la Ville.
3) Coming from the direction of Bordeaux and Chartres, by the A10:
Take the exit at Rochefort en Yvelines, (1st exit after the péage at Saint Arnould). Follow directions in turn for Bullion, Cernay-la-Ville or Dampierre until you see the signs marked "Château de Breteuil".
4) Coming from Normandy:
On the A13 when you are approaching Versailles, take the A12 towards Rambouillet. At the end of the A12 continue on the N10, still towards Rambouillet, for approximately 5km. Leave this road after Trappes when you see a sign on the right for Le Mesnil-Saint-Denis. At this exit immediately turn left towards Le Mesnil-Saint-Denis and then Chevreuse or Dampierre. At Chevreuse or Dampierr, drivers will find signs marked "Chateau de Breteuil".
5) Coming from Versailles: (marked in blue on the map)
Go to Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse via Buc (D 938). At Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, go to Les Molières and follow the signs indicating the chateau.
