The gardens, which have been listed as “remarkable”, and a magnificent 75 hectare park are here to be discovered throughout the seasons. Some visitors will find interesting botanical specimens, others a maze and play area, but everyone will find a place where they can relax and dream at their ease.
From its chestnut trees planted under Louis XIV to the contemporary design of the “Princes' Garden”, Breteuil embodies four centuries of garden history.

Situated in the Regional Nature Park of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse, Breteuil was built on a promontory. The views are magnificent. Below the classical gardens, the mosaic of box trees entices you to walk down to the pools situated at the bottom of the valley.
