Have a unique and magical reception, choose Château de Breteuil !
Located in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley Regional Natural Park, 35 km from Paris and 20 km from Versailles, this 75-hectare estate provides an exceptional setting for corporate, social and family events for groups of 30 to 250 guests. The Breteuil Estate is privately owned and has belonged to the same family for more than four centuries. This 17th-century gem will transport your guests to another era.
You can organise the reception of your dreams or add a prestigious and entertaining dimension to a study day (guided tour, escape game, team-building activities, etc.).
For your event, two venues are available: the château reception rooms and the orangery. These spaces are completely independent.
The caterer must be selected from our approved list.
You are free to choose your other service providers (sound technician, decorator, florist, entertainers, etc.).
Evening receptions may continue until 5:00 am.
The caterer’s staff must remain on site until the end of the event and clear away all equipment.
Rental rates vary according to the season and the day of the week.
A cottage is available to accommodate the bride and groom or members of their family.

The Château de Breteuil
In the Château, receptions are held on the ground floor, in the many Salons (drawing-rooms) with 18th century paintings and wood panellings, rearranged as required. A fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and rest-rooms are at your disposal.
When you rent Salons in Breteuil, the famous French Gardens, listed as ‘Remarkable Gardens’, are also at your disposal. They were created by Henri et Achille Duchêne around 1900, and are reminiscent of Versailles and André Lenôtre, the famous lanscape architect.
The Water Mirror, the statues, the yews and the topiary bushes make a fantastic setting where your ceremonies can take place.
The Terrace overlooking the Valley and Gardens are also fabulous settings for a dinner or drinks reception and garden parties.
Upon nightfall, the Gardens, the Remarkable Trees and the Château are illuminated, making the whole setting even more magical.

The Orangery
The XVIIIth century elegant Orangery provides the perfect bucolic venue for family get togethers and special occasions. You have private access to the English Gardens known as ‘the Princes’ gardens’, the Italian-style Terraces and the Millenium Maze, which make a beautiful setting for pictures and cocktail events.
The Orangery covers 170 sq.m and can accommodate 150 seated guests. Its outbuildings include a fully equipped kitchen, a locker room, restrooms, two little Salons and the ‘Faisanderie’, a 60sq.m room which opens into the Orangery and can be rented as a supplement.
